Tesla model S

TESLA Model S

The tesla model S is a full sized electric 5 five door, luxury liftback produced by the tesla motors. This car is equipped with a 85 kW battery pack which has a range of 265 miles (426 km) which in my opinion is, the best. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) rates its energy consumption at 237.5Wh per km for a combined fuel economy of 89 miles per gallon.

The model S was designed by Franz von Holzhausen who previously has worked for Mazda. This car was released on June 30, 2008 and its newer version was released on 2012
The new tesla model s 2012 perfomance variant has a 416 hp and 443 ft.lb rear mounted electric motor which makes this car an efficient car. The 85 kWh tesla model S top speed was 125 mph (201kmph) and also accelerates  from 0-60 miles per hour in just 5.4 sec.. which is way far better than other electric cars. And also its performance model goes 0-60 in just 4.2 sec which I think is unimaginable in the electric cars.

The acceleration is similar to that of a high end sports car which I think makes this car special or extraordinary compared to other electric cars. The top speed of this model is 120 mph (190 kmph).
On 2014 the tesla motors has announced its new modified version of the tesla model has a 4 wheel driven system.

In model S a special mode called, the “sleep” mode is included. The energy saving sleep mode state powers off the display and other vehicle electronics systems after the car goes to sleep. In this mode car decrease the loss of the cars range when not being used.
The 85kWh battery pack contains a  7104 lithium –ion battery cells in 16 modules wired in series. Each module contains  six groups of 74 cells wired parallel. It uses a charger of 120 or 240 volt sources  at  upto 10 kW.

So considering the environmental conditions, fuel etc the best option u get in the market I think is the tesla model S. With high efficiency and no environmental pollution the best suggested are these type of electric cars with higher performance.
